ABOUT ITA

BACKGROUND AND HISTORY

ITA Services Group opened its doors in 1998 in Cape Town with a staff consisting of only two individuals. Years later, Schalk Cadle, then Financial Director of the company, approached the ITA Services Group shareholders and bought the business.

Soon after the acquisition, Schalk decided to involve strategic growth and development partners to strengthen the company’s commercial footprint and approached Ngululu Capital Finance, a 100% affiliate of Ngululu Holdings (Pty) Limited, a 100% black-owned company.

Ngululu Capital Finance procured a 30% stake in ITA Services Group, and then CEO Chris Luvhani, and fellow director Freddy Sinthumule, joined the ITA Services Group Board as directors.

In 2008, after substantial growth and synergy amongst the executive team, the Ngululu Capital Finance Board, decided to increase their shareholding in ITA Services Group to 52.2%, and by doing so established the company as a BBBEE Level 2 complaint entity. This decision saw Chris Luvhani elected as ITA Services Group Chairperson, and Mandla Sibiya join the executive board as Director Strategy.

Under the dynamic leadership of Managing Director, Schalk Cadle, the ITA Services Group continues to expand its operations and revenue. Two new service divisions, namely the Fraud and Whistleblowing Hotline Service, and the Supply Chain Management Service were added to group portfolio in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

Despite the challenges presented by a world economy caught in the grips of a pandemic, ITA Services Group has remained focused on making sure their clients can continue their operations and that all employees and service department are committed to maintaining operations, tasks, and functions.
